Noise when turning car help.
i did a post a while ago, and they told me it could of been my alternator but i took of my battery and it was still running, so it cant be that.
So, now every time i turn my car on i hear it cranking and then i hear a ehhhhhhrrr sound lol.
then i try it again and it turns on without making that sound. what can it be? a pulley?
my car also in the past wont turn on when i leave on park for a while then i try to turn it back on and then it turns off by it self. But it cant be the battery because the lights are still on.
but i think thats a whole different thing.

Re: Noise when turning car help.
What you are describing can happen when the starter gear doesn't catch on the flywheel when it pops out. Usually the starter needs to be replaced. Remove it, check the gear for wear and have it tested a couple times at a parts store. Inspect the flywheel teeth for wear also.
