Default no spark fried ecu?

i have a b18c1 in my 92 coupe with an msd ing. im not geting a spark and my fuel pump isnt turning on. i think i might have shorted my ecu. what are the chances i shorted out my msd? what do you guys think?

also if you have a fuse blown it will do the same.

fuses are ok and so is the relay.

how do you know the main relay is ok?

and why do you think there is a possibibly you fried your ECU?

lol, I have the same exact problem right now. Its the main relay my friend but I been so lazy to change it.

why spend money and change it, fix it for free...

Or, if you were messing wiht the ground that bolts to the thermostat housing, make sure thats tight.

i dont THINK it was the relay because my uncle said so. but he doesnt know as much as you guys so thats why i poped the question. i thought its maybe the ecu because along with the car not having a spark my fuel pump isnt turning on. so a combination of probelms was my thought of the ecu. i read your link and it said how the main relay controls the ecu and fuel pump, so seems to me that its the main relay.

my car did the same thing. i thought it was the ECU then i realized it was recognizing codes... if your car is recognizing codes your ECU is fine.. try the main relay or get the codes your car is throwing

i replaced the main relay and still not starting, it cranks but dosent start. has anyone heard of a chip in the distributor?

I'm thinking fuse or your main relay.

check for any loose wires in your MSD setup. Also check if all the pins are connected in your distributor harness.

also ... check the connections from the ECU to the dizzy ... honda fixed mine and thats what it was

she started!!!! it wasnt the main relay. i was the fuses. i think. they were all mixed up and in the wring places. i was just screwing aroung with some stuff too apart my dizzy cap and then she fired right up. thank guys for your help and all the good ideas.
