No Spark
IM putting my GSR motor in my HX coupe. All the wiring is hooked up right. It Cranks but there is no spark at all. I have all brand new wires plugs Cap Rotor. Ive asked a few people and they all say its the Coil. Ive tested it with a Ohms meter and it hits right in between the number saying its good. My friend said that if i put a test light on the Ignitor it will light up meaning its good. If it lights up on the Coil thats not good and means its a bad coil.
Anyone else want to throw me some things that i can check...

just for good times sake, pull the coil out of your buddies car and try it in yours. It may fix it, may not.
...you could also test for voltage coming into the distributor while it's being turned over. Make sure all of your fuses are good as well.

Re: No Spark (Civichx1998)
well u can check if the resistance is good but u have to check to see if the coil is grounding from the housing of the coil, what im saying is that if its shorted to the housing of the coil its not gonna spark.. so u have to stick ur volt meter on the OHM setting.. touch the secondary coil out let, were the spark plug wire hook up too and touch the metal case to see if there is any continuity there. and most importantly if you u have no signal from your CKP sensor u will never get spark! or the the ecm is not duty cycling ground to the coil.. i could bet its one of those 3 i listed.
