No cold start with omni power 70mm TB
Hey guys,
I have a 70mm omni power throttle body, and now that its winter I can't start the car unless floor the gas and turn it over for a really long time. I was told that it was because there is no idle tensioner on the throttle body? So I just wanted some advice.
By the way its a b18c with skunk 2 pro series intake manifold.
Thanks for the help as always.

Re: No cold start with omni power 70mm TB
I have 68mm omni, no cold start and mine starts fine, has been -8 degrees here over past few wks... I thought ecu should kick more fuel in on start up, enough to cope...?

i know my tb doesn't stay running when its cold when i warm it up sum i can take my foot off the gas. it doesn't have a FITV. unless u had the old warm up valve they had set up on the old B18's. like this one im chipped on a p28 and my IACV can not open up far enough to keep it idling

Once I get it to start it stays running okay.
Its just getting it to start thats the problem.
I hold down the gas and have to turn it over for a couple of mins to get it to start.

well you should hook up whatever that top nipple is supposed to be hooked to? charcole canister i think?
and hook up the FITV on the bottom of it.
