No a/c or rad fan.
Just bought a 97 civic lx to save me some gas on my 3 hour trips to los angeles. Radiator fan does not come on, most of the time the car is fine but going up the grapevine in California in heavy traffic that stops and goes the car will overheat if the fan is not on. If i give power directly to the fans they work. Put in a new fan switch and nothing. Jumped the wire for the switch and still nothing. Jumped the relay and noticed no power coming from the relay.
A/C also does nothing blower does not come on and when hitting a/c off and on the clutch does not engage and light does not come on. When i jump the clutch it does engage.
Also checked all fuses for a/c and fan thy are good.
I have the fan on a switch for now so not to much of a problem but this California heat is killing me not sure were to start on the a/c system.

Re: No a/c or rad fan.
Fuses are good and power flowing. There is no power at the relay. Decided to follow the wiring this morning and when taking wrapping off the fan switch connector notice it is burned far down the ground wire and partially down the the wire carrying power, may be a short so might have to replace wiring all the way through. Don't know if it may be related to a/c not working or separate issue. Don't completely understand the wiring diagram look like they are related but not sure.
