no a/c :(
my 95 civic AC is not working , I just charged it a week ago and on one day it was like 60 and kinda cool I turned it on for ***** and grins and it worked , ice ****in cold , I was shocked that it decided to work because it hasnt since I bought the car. now it wont blow cold air at all , the clutch in the compressor isint kicking in , the main relay ticks so it wants to come on but it wont. theres no apparent sign of leaks anywhere even on the condensor. someone said it could be the evaporator but I dont wanna go tear apart the dash and replacing parts till I know what it is....also if the cars ac in on while in park the car surges and idles up and down up and down.

check the a/c relay...does the a/c fan turn on? if the fan turns on but not the clutch try switching the two relays. there located on the radiator support

it may be low on freon.
if it is low the compressor wont kick on.
outside temperature affects the pressure in the lines, that one day it worked, the temperature may have been enough to let the compressor kick on.
