Re: Are Nitto NT-450 anygood??? (backlash)
They only good for a LONG LIFE, I got almost 40K out of them including a few trips to drag strip, a few burnouts & quiet a few autoX sessions. Sidewall roolls so much that for AutoX I had to fill them up to 55psi. Very hard rubber. They also squeeel like pigs when pished hard. HORRIBLE in a little snow, literally!
Yes, like backlash said, STAY AWAY from them. Get Kumho 712 (spelling?) instead.

For a decent rain tire the Ziex are fine. Anything else and you might as well have gone with Kumho's or the new Azenis.

Re: Are Nitto NT-450 anygood??? (Apex i ITR)
Stay away from the NT450's. They have just ok dry traction and their wet traction just sucks! Hydroplaning is a regular occurance. They are also a very loud tire and completely unforgiving of bumps/cracks on the road.
I now have Dunlop SP9000's ans cannot say enough good things about them for an everyday tire.

No they are not a very wise performance tire choice.
But they are black, round, and have a hole in the middle.....so you can still call them tires I suppose
