Nitrous Oxide are my two favorite words.
My cousin has a 96 Probe GT. He recieved his NOS Kit# 5115 in the mail a couple days ago and we installed it yesterday. First off, I couldn't believe how easy the kit went on. I mean it took us about 2 hours to install the entire kit. I think a 12 year old who has some experience with legos can put it together. Well we started with a 50 shot to test it out and it definatly was faster. We then said **** it and threw on the 036 nozzle and went up to about a 75 shot. OMG the thing was going through the gears like it was in 1st. Nitrous, contrary to many myths is not very dangerous to your engine if you use it responsibly. It is however, very addicting. We went through a bottle in like 10 runs. One thing I want to know is what is the safest shot you can put on a '00 EX with an upgraded fuel pump and regulator?

Uh, I hear that the safest shot is about 60-65 on the stock block. The D16 can only handle so much boost. If you upgraded your fuel and ignition with it I'm sure you could to tune it with a 75 shot. My friend had a NX 50 shot on his Ex. I thought it was a blast! Nitrous is a great low budget power adder in my opinion, but filling up that bottle every week turned me off of it.

if you are a good tuner, you can run a 75 shot a few times, but i'd really stray away from it. i'd stick to a nice 65 shot to be safe with an FPR.

I had a NOS 5122 dry kit on my 2000 Civic Si with an MSD Window Switch, NGK BKR7E plugs, Walbro 255lph fuel pump and Vortech FPR set to 38psi...I had all of the goodies with it, purge, heater, opener, pressure gauge. I ran a 75 shot when I thought it was a 50 shot...the only thing it seemed to damage was my clutch...that went out REAL quick...Im having my Exedy Oganic installed maybe this weekend or next.
So why did I take the NOS kit out? So I can install the NX kit this weekend, duh!!
Nitrous is a GREAT way to make a SHITLOAD of power very cheaply. I would suggest you start small and work your way up..start with a 50 shot and see how your car reacts. Grab a set of codler plugs, a fuel pump, and expect to swap your clutch out soon. Once you have a nice clutch...step up to a wet 60-75 shot and see how you like it.

DO NOT USE NOS ON D16Y7 or 8 motors!
I've seen about 20+ so far with blown rods just from daily soccer mom driving.
Honda has a problem with this.

Thats funny because Ive seen several motors that JUST WILL NOT DIE...I mean, people puposely sprayed with the motor not on and then crank it up...and it turns over every time.
