well, before anyone else says it, i will say in a nicer way. Please search
anyway yes 25 shot will be perfect, but 50 might be cutting it. Don't think you wana here a little thump, then shake, shake, rattle, rattle. BOOM! becareful when using those things, do more research on it! you mine as well spend that money on a mini me swap! best way to go then upgrade some more before adding nos. GL with decision....

right now its the d15b jspec motor with a d16y8 intake manifold and a p28 ecu putting in the si tranny soon and what would be the best internals to change out right away?

ok good than u do have the jdm d15, i thought u had the stock cx motor,
If u have the jdm d15 then i would go no more than 50 and mabye 75 if u have a clutch and a little better fuel setup than stock

a mini me is just like a ls vtec you take the nonvtec bottom end and and add a vtec head to it add a new fuel pump and replace your fuel filter then up the shot to 75 and then you are done its been done so many times

you have a vtech but still vtech really doesnt mean anything, just timeing air ratio and your cams, nothing more! when you are shooting NOS you gain INSTANT HP not develop HP like boost or Supercharge. Just think of it like this, pounding a nail into the wall, you start out with soft hits before ending with a bang right?? now try it with a quick bang, see what I mean you have more chances of blowing your motor! hope that helps.

a mini me is taking a 1.5l non vtec bottom end, and mating it with a 1.6vtec head.. and of course a new ecu to handle vtec
it throws out close to as much power as a d16z6
