nitrous and d16z6
I have a del sol with a d16z6 and am going to be runnin a zex dry kit(already have but not installed yet). engine mods are as follows: intake, full 2 1/2 in exhaust, apexi v-afc, msd ignition, FAL fan, adj fuel pressure regulator, and other misc. On the dyno i put down 122.3 whp and 99.8 ft.lbs of torque. I am gonna rebuild this engine and was plannin on runnin a zex 59300 cam (already have but not installed yet), zex springs and retainers, port and polished head, srp forged pistons 10.5:1 comp, and eagle h-beam rods. I wanted to know how much of a shot can i run with this setup before catastrophic failure occurs and what kinds of e.t.s can i expect with those upgrades. The fastest i have put down in the 1/8th so far is 10.23. Also i wanted to know if a b18b1 throttle body will work on a z6.

Also why not run a wet system? it is safer. and as far as how much of a shot that all really depends on what your air/fuel mixture is like. and tuneing. I would say with a built bottomend. at least 125.
**Disclaimer**
I am not responsible if n20sol Blows his motor in anyway shape or form.

Re: nitrous and d16z6 (sohcvtec1995)
i am goin with a dry system cause i got it from someone i know for rebuilding their integra. Can't go wrong with free. Let alone i am on a budget. Anyone know if any other turbo will fit the manifold that comes in the greddy kit besides the turbo it comes with? also as i said earlier what kind of e.t.s can i expect runnin a 55/75/125 shot?

Cant give you a et. thats impossible. Any turbo will fit on that mani as long as it is the same flange. And you can convert the dry to wet.

the problem with that flange is it looks like a standard t3 flange but it isnt the holes are set farther in i tried puttin a t3 on it but i had to drill the holes on the turbo farther in to make it fit then i found out the seals were shot on that turbo(not a fun experience). Also is it gonna matter if i run crower springs and retainers instead of the comp cams springs and retainers for the #59300 that they recommends. i wouldn't think it would matter but i found the crower cheaper.

Retainers and springs wont matter. its all in the name.
The turbo flange may be a DSM flange. if it is then there are many options of turbos for you. take a pic of the flange and post it up. if it is a dsm flange then you can go 14b,16g, big 16g,18g, big 18g, 20g. also some t25's. those are just stock turbos. If you want aftermarket then just shop around for one that has a dsm flange. or you can just get a adapter plate.

the dsm flange for the 14g does line up but it is sideways. the dsm flange mounts up perpendicular to how this one does
i cant figure out how to get the pic to work it keeps comin up with an x

Re: nitrous and d16z6 (n20sol)
I would think with a really good tune you could run a 65 shot with no problems.. on a stock bottom end and stock head.
I ran consistent 9.8's in the 1/8 mile with my d16z6 with i/h/e and some good tires.. so i would think get some better tires and loose some of the air in them when running.. and you can lower that 10.2
also mistabone ran a 75 shot on his d16z6 with some boltons and slicks and pulled like a 13.4 in the 1/4 in a DX hatch.. But a 75 shot on a stock bottom end is almost at the edge of death.
