new trany fluid causing a grind?

changed my trany fluid and now 3rd gear grinds i used valvoline trany fluid. Doesnt grind all the time just some times

Try Honda MTF. They re-formulated it...or there's a new flavor of it available in addition to the standard stuff they've always sold.

It probably didn't cause the tranny grind opposed to simply not covering it up as good.
