Re: new synchro?? (redexchris)
yea wow that really helped
What kind of tranny do you want? I was getting prices for a d series rebuild ranging from 1200-1800. I couldnt tell you how much a tranny from a junkyard is. Try IAS? Just do a little research, make phone calls to junkyards...even take a trip to one. You never know what the condition/price of a junkyard tranny is unless you go check. Im guessing around 300+ though Im probably way off. good luck.
you need to let us know what motor you have, what tranny....

Re: new synchro?? (redexchris)
Well not an Integra here but on my prelude a new tranny was 900-1100 used, I had to put a new 5th/reverse shift hub in and new bearings. Parts at cost from honda were 490. Assuming you dont need bearings which you may, the syncro and gear...they are one peice...will be in the ball park of 2-300 im assuming...blocker rings maybe bout 20...then if you dont have a dad like mine who rebuilds tranny's for a living, your looking at 6-12 hours of work...my dad makes 29 an hour, so if it were my dad doing the work that would be about 2-400 big ones...tranny's aren't a cheap part to work on...hope some of this helps, good luck btw, you may want to have a professional look at your car before you make the assumption its a syncronizer thier are many different things that can cause difficult shifting

Re: new synchro?? (PoweredByPrelude)
A D-series transmission from a junkyard will probably cost up tp $250.
To pay a shop for a used transmission with warranty will be atleast $2000.
