Default new to this site

hey what's up everyone. I've been a member of clubsi for a while and have read stuff on this site but figured I'm sign up. So What Up Honda Tech..
I'm gettin' antzy to buy a header and am trying to figure out what I'd like to run to my 00 si. b16a2
I've got a 2.5" high flow cat, apex-i ws exhaust, AEM SRI, and now I'm wantin' to buy a jdm style header for my civic.. here's my list
jdm itr 4-1 header
jdm dc sports 4-1
jdm apexi gt 4-2-1
JDM CTR header
the opinions of people on csi are more towards 4-1, looks like a lot of guys here like 4-2-1 (sorry if I'm wrong I'm new).
I may go to the jdm itr 4-1 but I live in colorado and drive in the mountains all the time and don't want to hurt my low end. but could use more power any time.
so give me your thoughts and Thanks in advance

All the header comparisons I have seen have shown the JDM DC 4-1 kicking the dogshit out of the ITR 4-1. Just my .02. Oh yeah, welcome to Honda-Tech, where we do things a bit differently than ClubSI. Check out the two threads in my signature.

I haven't done much research on this, but wouldn't a 4-2-1 be better for low end/midrange? I could be wrong, so feel free to flame me.

Your absolutely rite from the info I've gained.
4-1 will give better top end
and 4-2-1 will give better mid.
I've read apexi 4-2-1 (jdm) is great all the way around and gives good mid however I've also read that both of those 4-1 header(s) jdm itr and jdm dc 4-1 are quite similar however I'm not sure what mid range will be like. I want power the whole way but if a 4-1 jdm will be good for daily driving.
Thanks guys and thanks for the welcome
Justin

I'm also leaning toward the jdm itr header for the fact it's oem honda and should be a solid mod that will last.

Yes, supossidly the 4-2-1 is better for midrange, but honestly, I had one on my Y7, and it felt like it was all top end power (over 4k).

Hey guys thanks for your help I'm sure I'm probably just digging up the thousand times asked question and I'm sorry. But I'd really like to get a header that will benifit me. I've heard of people going with a 4-1 and saying it actually hurt their performance. My b16a2 isnt excactly the most peppy thing under 4k stock. where I want the power most is mid to high rpm range anyhow I'm just not sure that a 4-1 gives descent mid range (4k rpms) because I drive to go snowboarding all the time and climbing hills I hate punching the gas but not watching my speed go up.
but I'd also like a good curve too. I dunno here's the scoop
jdm ss dc 4-1 for 350 with a new donut gaseket
jdm apexi gt about 500 (stainless steel)
jdm itr 4-1 for 385
Thanks again..
