i am looking to buy a new d16z6 and i need to know the best place to get one. im in the portland area. thanx

Nope I have checked, the have JDM d15b and SOHC and DOHC ZCs but not z6s!

If you already have a D16 non-VTEC motor, you could always just do a mini-me swap and put on the SOHC VTEC head.

If there aren't any D16Z6 motors around, try searching for D16Y8. It's the same thing but newer.

Keep in mind, that without a turbo the D16 motor is slow as hell. You'll be lucky to get 15's in the 1/4. I recommend a B18 instead.

great motor easier to find, will come with lower miles most likely

Not nearly as cheap after shipping and all that bullshit. Just call up a local junkyard and get a D16Y8 or Z6 for $300.
