New Jersey inspection sticker
Hello everybody, out of curiosity, what are most of you doing to get around DMV inspection? With all these swaps, forced induction, JDM conversions, emissions component elimination, OBD2 to OBD1, esc, it doesn’t seem like many could get through inspection. Years back before OBD2, it was as easy as dishing out a few bucks to a private inspection garage. Do shops still do this for people, or has this become too risky for them? Most of my builds have been track cars, so inspection hasn’t really become an issue until recently. Thanks

ppl still do that. the world sadly runs on $. shops can get in a lot of trouble though.
get a motor barred...then swap it out.
have a different tune for inspection.
have swappable exhaust.
be creative

I asked about this for my state. I haven't actually inspected it yet this year but it's a huge PITA to inspect anything lately. At least in VT. Here's a link to my thread: https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-...ecton-3312996/
