Hello HT, Im new here, and I need help! I recently picked up 93 del sol si with a d16z6 that was unfortunately starved for oil.
I have a running jdm D15b (vtec) kicking around, so I swapped the intake mani w/tb, trans and exhaust mani from the d16z6 to the d15b and dropped it down in.
Thus far, I have got it running, but its burning coolant like a **** (white smoke from here to hell and back). It has all new gaskets, minus the oil pan and head gasket. I know the head gasket is good, it was in a car that rotted away, but still ran strong... damn new york salt haha.
Anywho, I, do realize there is one less nipple coming off the coolant tube in the rear for the iacv on the d15b, so I hooked up the iacv to the two nipples on the thermostat side and bolted the hose that goes from the top left small nipple on the thermostat housing (d16z6) to the top of the intake mani (on the dizzy side of cyl 4). (Will post pics if requested) Please help!

Whoah, you plugged a coolant line into the top of the intake manifold? Disconnected that, then post some pictures of this nest you're working with. It sounds like you're pumping coolant straight into your intake manifold.
