New to Cars, need help about engine swap
hey guys im a 19 yr old college student and i want to get into cars.. well my girlfriend actually got me into it so i decided to buy a new car.
i want to buy a hona civic EK but the mileage of those cars is really high and i want to get more speed.
i decided to do an engine swap..
i been reading around and i heard Hmotoronlines was a good website to buy engines from.
i was wondering if putting a b16B engine into a EK would have any problem.
the site says its a complete change over but is that true?
and also do anyone know a good auto shop that would do engines swaps?
i live in southern california so anything between LA/OC would be nice.
this is the engine i was talking about
http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc...age&item=30006
is it a reasonable price? and what other things would i need?

Re: New to Cars, need help about engine swap
Yes, that is a very reasonable price for that motor, From everything it says comes with it, you won't need anything else to put it in, well it says it comes with all stock mounts, but I don't know if they will send you the L mount also for the back of the motor, i'm sure they would though. I would like to have the B16b engine but can't afford it lol, I live in Georgia however, so I can't tell you any shops that do the swaps over there, but you may need to check and see if you can have that motor in your car over there, since it's hard to do anything to a vehicle in Cali...
