Default Needs Help with a Swap

Hi guys, I'm Daniel and new to all this.
I have a 94 Honda cx with the pos motor that has gone bad. So i have an D15b with a p08 cpu coming. I just need to know a few things about the swap and i can't find it on your site..
could someone pls help me with it and pls stay on subject and dont tell me to get something else

you should be able to drop it in without having to modify anything. Just use the stuff from the old motor, it will all swap over to the new one.

I just need to know about the o2 wire and how to wire up the vtec.... pls help

You wont have to do anything with the O2 sensor. The CX is a 1 wire setup, so is the P08 ECU. For the Vtec wiring you will need to run 2 wires, plus a ground. Please see the pinout below.

ok i thought the cx was allready wired for vetc from the firewall to the ecu?

Only the 1992 Cx is, along with all other 92 Civics, regardless of trim level.

From 93-95 the CX, DX, and LX all have to be wired for VTEC, which is only two wires, so it's not a big deal.

ok the motor is in and running great.. about a half mile up the road i blew the tranny so what is a good trany i should get with this swap

ok, how exactly do you "blow a tranny"?? anyway, the best tranny for you would be a 92-95 si tranny sure it's not the clutch you wore out? you sure it's the transmission itself?!

You break the diff pin, differential blows a hole in the side of the case.

ok well i pulled up to a stop sign and went to take off and it felt like it just poped out of gear like i didnt have it in 1st all the way and i just pushed in the clutch and just put it in gear and nothing... just a sit and spin...

Did you look at it at all yet? The axle probably just popped out (it wont come right out and fall on the ground, it just backs out about an inch or so)
