just found this forum, not sure why i havent been here earlier.

anyways here is my story, ive got a nice little Honda CRX DelSol '95. im looking to buy scissor door hinges for my car. thing is, the hinges are built for Honda Civic or CRX EF or ED series years 1989 to 1991. does anyone know if this will fit my car? even if it isnt a perfect fit, im willing to do some modifications to make them fit. morely wanting to know if they will be compatible.

i need to find out within the next 4 hours so speedy replies are very much needed

Yeah, del Sol doors have enough rattling problems without doing scissor lifts.

Btw, OP, most of the time you're going to find them being called lambo doors or vertical doors.

If you look around on websites that sell lambo doors you should eventually be able to find a few sites that list part numbers. Look up the '93-'97 del Sol part number and the '88-91 CRX part number.

If they're the same then they fit. If they're not the same (and are the same brand) then they probably don't fit. A lot of aftermarket companies like to make one part that fits several models, so if they could have done it they most likely would have.

just want to make clear to everyone calling it a ricer and saying its a bad idea, the reason i was looking at this conversion is because im looking to make the car into a show car and this would have been one of the features that would set it apart from the others.

From the few shows I've been to lambo doors would not make the car stand out more. They're relatively popular for show cars (aka. "rice").

Not sure if it's possible (sure it is, with enough money), but if you truly just want to stand out at a show maybe a del Sol with suicide doors or such would be different. I won't claim to like it, but it could suit your purposes.
