h22a ek coilover help
im about ready to drop in a h22 into my ej8. my second concern is my suspension. which coilovers would withstand with this heavyweight h22 for a long time while not ridding to stiff but smooth? i was thinking about functions & form, they ride pretty smooth and not too stiff. something adjustable because cuz im trying to stay away from h22 ek ground clearence issues

I agree. Wherever you are going to order from call them and see what they suggest. However, what makes sense to me is a high spring rate takes more weight to compress the spring, ideal for a heavy engine yes? but they also ride rougher than a softer spring. I guess what you have to find out is the balance between a nice ride and stiff enough springs.

Very true, when it comes down to choosing suspension, especially when considering aftermarket suspension which for the most part have increased spring rates over the stock suspension, even the OTS suspension, the increased weight of an H22, which isn't much, is moot.

Re: h22a ek coilover help
Read the two posts above yours, the increased weight of an H22 is null. The majority of the OTS rates will be fine for you. The OTS Tein or H&R rates will be fine for you, if you want coilovers ground control rates will be fine for you, as will many of the decent full coilover rates, i.e. PIC, H&R or Eibach.
