Default Need some questions answered with my hatch and swap

Hey guys i need some help

Ok i have a 96 ek, i have a complete swap out of an eg hatch. I need to know what i can use off the eg into my ek, the swap is a jdm b16(obd1 i believe)

1. can i use the eg shift linkage?
2. what engine harness do i use because my ek is auto(im also converting to 5speed) and still has the OG SOHC

well if you had a b16 in the eg...then you had a b-series shift linkage in the eg, so thats gonna work in the EJ6 hatch, as long as its a b-series. As for your harness, your gonna have to use the one out of the EJ6 and if its a dx or cx then your gonna hev to add knock sensor, vtec wires, and do the 3 wire to 2 wire iacv..also the harnes will have to be a manual harness. So if your EJ6 is auto, your better off looking for a EX harness, then that way its plug and play. EX harness has knock, vtec and 2 wire iacv

all b-series axles are gonna work unless you have the 36mm jdm type R axles, but i doubt you do....so it'll work
