need some help
I have a 95 si hatch, redline is at 7200 and for some reason it cuts out at 6400 i have already done a few things to try and fix it but nothing is working here is what i did
1.)checked oil
2.)checked for right ecu
3.)filled with gas
4.)new distribitor
5.)new plugs
6.)even put a chipped ecu without a rev limiter and it still cut out
6.)and there is no check engine lights
if anyone has had this problem or can help please do so thanks

check engine lights.
is the engine coolant temp sensor connected? this is a two wire connector and is below the distributor.
something obvious is causing the early fuel cut off.

Hmmm...could have a DX motor in there??? I still think the fuel cutoff is higher than 6400 on those and you said it was stock. That's odd. Wish I could help more.

Your ECU a P28? lol.
Remove the PGM-FI fuse as well in the under hood fuse box for 30 seconds, then put it back in. See if you can rev to redline with the engine to normal temp.
