Need a second opinion on solution to engine prop.
Lately my car has been a real pain in the ***, I think she knows I have some extra money lying around and like the typical chick wants me to spend it ALL on her.
Its been hard for me to down shift lately, no grinds, nothing like that but its like I have to really push to get it into a lower gear while driving, sometimes I have no problems but most of the time I do. No problems up shifting tho.
Secondly there is an odd noise coming from my car when I hit 45mph and am in 3rd gear only.
Third my engine has been shaking a lot, you can feel it if you put your hand on the hood or put some tension on the shifter.
So far I'm thinking a bad passenger side axle, and a worn rear mount. Trans was just rebuilt about a month ago by me. So I can vouch with 98% certainty its all good internally.

My car is a pain in the *** to downshift too... happened when I put my Skunk2 Short Shifter in... don't know why but I have to be around 20mph in order to downshift into second and damn near stopped to shift into 1st. Really annoying...

Thats about the same with mine, some days I have no trouble most times I do.
I had some proplems earlier and put some washers in where the linkage meet the shifter to tighten it up and it helped greatly.
The reason for this was because where the linkage meet the shifter was sloppy, so I put a few washers in to add strengh.
