Need recommendation for a clutch/flywheel.
I have a 1994 Civic LX sedan that I am dropping a JDM D15B in with a few upgrades. So far it's just the basic short ram intake, 4-2-1 header, and down the road I plan to add a Crower cam if I get the money. I'm only looking at putting out maybe 150hp, 160 tops when all is said and done.
For a clutch, I'm looking at an Exedy Stage 1 organic disc, the heavy duty pressure plate, and the normal throwout bearing, etc. I'm assuming this will grip just a little better than a stock one and wear about the same?
The flywheel is my biggest concern. The stock one is ~17lbs, right? All the "lightweight" ones I see are like 8. How much harder is this going to be to drive?
Could I get a stock flywheel down to around 10-12lbs, and would that still be strong enough?
