I am doing my suspension on my 94 civic hatch this weekend, and i know my nuts for the shocks/struts are rusty as ****, so assuming bolts are too, my Q is what size nuts/bolts do i need for my suspension and anyone know the best place to get them? THANKS!

hondapartdeals.com is where I usually go. Your rear LCA bolts may seize to the bushing. Have fun with those.

I would recommend genuine honda bolts.

don't go with some hardware store bolts, they could be a softer metal which could shear off or stretch or who knows what else.

genuine honda or bust.

Yes. At least for suspension bolts. I've used generic hardware store bolts for other things, but I use Honda bolts where it's load bearing or otherwise important.

Get them here: http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/

Or, I've also been known to pull buckets of bolts from junkyard cars. A lot of them aren't very rusty at all, and they're already jacked up, so they're easy to get to. If you're lucky, you can yank good condition bolts for everything you need from one car.

Go visit your local honda dealership. Thats what i did! i think the nuts on the strut towers are like $2 a piece or somthing like that. I cant really remember and the bolt/nut holding the forks are like $9-10 a piece.

One thing you can also do is salvage off your friends car when he is not looking. LOL. i think the strut tower nuts are 14mm and the lower bolt that holds your lower ones are 17mm i think.
