need help, is this a vtec head

I believe the spark plugs are on the back of the valve cover for non-vtec. May just be missing the solenoid.

You two arent serious are you?

Okay, this is NOT a vtec head. Yes, the plug holes being on the back of some heads means NO vtec because those are older d15's. However all usdm civics 96-00 regardless of which trim (dx, lx, ex, hx) had the plug holes on the front.
This head is NOT vtec because you can clearly see there is no place for the solenoid and the rocker girdle is not above the center of the head as in the d16z6 and y8.
