need help on timing...

Icon2 need help on timing...

i use the timing gun... but i cant find the mark on the crank pulley?

do i need to eject the pulley(timing belt) next to the head? if so how to do it.... it have a word that say UP but even if i turn it up... cant find the mark on the crank pulley


any help?

there's three line's on the crank pulley. Align the middle line with the tab on the timing cover. Use your dizzy to advance or retard the timing.

yes i get that part.. the problem is i cant find the 3 line on the crank pulley

it's on the crank closest to the timing cover

manually move the pulley to tdc and you will be able to see the timing marks, then you will know what your looking for. If your timing light is really bad you might not be able to see them
