need help my car doesnt go into gear right
ok yesterday i was testing my new gsr swap into my coupe. then al of a suden i shifted into 2 nd and nothing. it did need a new clutch but i dont think thats the problem. the first time i took it out for a spin it hit al gears good. but after it hit second the second time around no gear after that would hit. when i got to my house my dad said it was the clutch but some thing in the shift linkage feels funy like it goes into gear too softly and i dont hear the normal clik you get in hondas reverse gear. nit feels like the forks arent moving the sincros could that be the problem. ples need help and also it goes into gear when the car is on with out a plying the clutch. pleas anything you know let me know thanks,.........

If you know the clutch is bad why suspect something else is wrong? When you pull out the trans to replace the clutch check out the linkage for any issues.

how are the bushings on your shift linkage? they could be worn so you are getting sloppy shifts but you should still be able to get in gear so your main problem is most likely your clutch or slave cylinder on the tranny not pushing your clutch fork in far enough

if it is all the gears now then you definitly have a clutch problem or it could be air in the hydrolic cylinders or the one of the 2 clutch cylinders is bad. the only other thing it could possibly be if your really don't think it's your cluctch is that the clutch fork is no longer seated on the ball in the bell housing of the tranny
