Need Help - Low Idle (only when hot outside)
My 92 Si idle's significantly lower than usual when it's hot outside. Sometimes when coming to a stop the car looks like it wants to die, but the rpms gradually increase back up to 300-400 rpm after a few seconds of idling in neutral. Even then, you can tell the car's idle is a little rough and lower than usual.
I read that a dirty IACV could cause an erratic idle and a sticking/dirty FITV could cause an abnormally high or low idle when the engine is warming up. My car doesn't really have either of these issues. Is there some other valve or temperature sensor that controls the idle speed and may be effected by outside tempature?
Any help with figuring out the low idle issue would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Need Help - Low Idle (hott95ej2)
Why would the the FITV being set too low affect the idle at normal operating temps? Doesn't the FITV only affect the idle speed when the engine is warming up? Also, is it normal for cars to idle at different RPMs depending on what the outside temperature is?
