Need help fast...
What's up everyone. I just need some information. Is the primary oxygen sensor on a 95 ex 4door civic in front of the cat. converter or behind the cat converter? Thanks...

Re: Need help fast... ([HrZn]4life)
my friends car is showing a cel 41 (primary oxygen sensor-heater circuit malfunction). I can't take a look at her car right now and she needs to order a new o2 sensor... does anyone know if this is behind the cat or in front of the cat? Thanks.

correct.
i thought you were implying that the car had 2 oxygen sensors like OBD2 cars, and wanted to know if the primary was in front or behind the cat.
but yeah, the sensor is always infront of the cat, on the manifold, on OBD1 cars.
