i don't have a/c, its getting hot. when i have the vent on, the air always feels hotter than the outside air coming in through the window.
will bypassing the heater core make the vent temperature the same as the actual outside temperature?
equilibrium must be achieved

The stunna in the passenger seat
I thought the heater box had a big air flap that directed air over the heater core only when the heater was on. At least on my EK it does.
When I slide the heater control, the stiff wire moves a lever on the heater box and I can hear a big slide sound inside. On that same lever, is another stiff wire that opens the coolant valve on the other side of the firewall.
