Need help! Extra noise and overheating problem
Hey Guys Thanks in advance for your help. I have a 94 Civic Hatchback.
Problem 1 extra noise. When I start up my car when its cold theres this extra clanking noise not too loud but when i step up the clutch it goes away.
Problem 2 when driving and I step on the clutch to switch gears theres this phss noise sounds like its releasing air.
Problem 3 after driving for 30 mins my car starts to overheat but thing is the temp rises goes back down and rises again back and forth.
Thanks For Your Help Guys.

#1 It's your throwout bearing in the tranny.
#3 I think you might need a new thermostat and a coolant flush. someone correct me if I am wrong. thanks and G/L

Number 1 and 2 are more than likely the same problem,as said before the throwout bearing.
for number 3,check if your fans are coming on first, feel both the rad hoses and see if their the same temperature if so then you probably need a new thermostat and while your at it flush out the system.

thanks for the advice. I've been reading other peoples post with the same problem do you think the noise could be from the input shaft bearing?
Also, sometimes when im in first gear and driving at a high rpm theres a clanking noise.
