okay, my cv boot has been split for around 4 weeks now, possibly longer
anyways, im getting the cv axle replaced tomorrow.. and all of a sudden, starting today im getting a loud creaking / popping noise from the front suspension

its sounds like its more the middle of the car, near the cat, that the sound is coming from.

is this the axle making noise? it seems to make more noise when the road conditions are rough.

i did a quick visual check (no jack / stands here) and nothing seemed out of place, ill check from the engine bay tomorrow, but im just worried, cause i already got enough problems, and they are all being fixed saturday, i really hope i didnt introduce a new one... f*ck

take the bus til saturday....I would say the damage is already done and the noise you are hearing is the damaged axles, if it still drives then you should be good for a couple of more days.

yea, all i need to do is get it to the mechanic tomorrow (around 50 km from house) then im fine

should i consider replacing both axles now?
the passenger side seems fine from a visual check.
