ABS light on, Whats wrong?
My abs light went on and off for a bit, and now it stays on and its spring so i dont know if they work. Can this affect regular braking? And how do I go about fixing it? Thanks

That happened on my old teg. Apparently it happens a lot. I took the bulb out and then a year later when I was selling it I put it back in. No more light. I dont think there is a solution other that buying new ABS componenets which are damn expensive.
Try jumping the ECU for a code or resetting the ECU.

I dont wanna sound dumb, been awhile since I have had this problem. I would immediately think that ABS stood for Anti-lock Break System...But if I remember correctly it was an airbag issue? Not sure. Call a dealership. Sorry if I'm a uber moron. hehe. But if I'm right, I hope it helps.

right about the ABS, but not about it being "an airbag issue," because if it was, the SRS light would come on. (safety restraint system)
mOuse, first try to reset the ecu, check the ABS fluid, and all ABS related parts, if the problem persist, take it to the honda dealership for an inspection. the "visual" inspection will be free, but if it does need fixing, and unless your car is under warranty, you will have shell out the doe!

Check all of your sensors, and then make sure the abs axle rings are straight with the sensors. I used to have this problem all the time with my teg where the rings would get all crooked and the light would come on. If all else fails, then check the actual abs unit. Could be just a purge leak somewhere.
