Default Need help choosing brake pads

Well i took my car for a little drive earlier and the brakes started to squeal so it looks like I have my project for this week. Anyways im trying to decide between EBC and Hawk, and weather i should go with the street pads, or the race pads. Im leaning towards the streets, but im also thinking that i want to start autoxing soooo any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I use Hawk streetpads and they aren't too shabby.
If you're gonna autox tho, might wanna look deeper.

get cheap street pads for street.
get real track pads for track.

there are compromises, but why compromise? if 98% of your driving is going to be street... get street pads. to change to track pads takes 15 minutes the night before.

for brands, do a search, in rr/ax specifically for track pads.

i think axiss ultimate is a good choice for street pads, i don thave much experience with different sets of pads though.

cobalts if you are tracking the car.

I'm happy with my AEM pads, but next time I might give the Carbotech Bobcats a try.

Dont get EBC. I had EBC greens before and they are crap! Axxis Ultimate are great for autocross but just very dirty. Hawk HP Plus are good for street.

Axxis Ultimates are a great compromise pad.
