Default NEED HELP ASAP! PLEASE HELP ELECTIRCAL

Hi,

I cleaned my engine bay about 4 days ago, with that "black magic" ****. anyways now my engines nice and clean. I covered the fuse box, intake, alarm, and distributer in the process. I got a battery light when i did so, my bro said its just a wet sensor it will go away.

Now my battery is totally dead, when i was driving it my headlights were dim and when i gased they were brighter...the battery light kinda flickered sometimes..and would turn off when i brakes or was in neutral.

Today i went to Walmart and bought a new batterie I put it in but still had a battery light... to top that i come home after a little drive and my ******* batterie exploded but it was still working, one of the things on the top blew off but it was still working..

Now my cars in the garage chillin with no batterie...i ahve a warenty so im just going to exhange that... but whats wrong...

my bro says i need to clean the green sensor from my harness that goes to the alternater, i kinda cleaned it but its really hard to clean a sensor, any suggestions on that? can i use liquid or no? carb cleanor? water? compressed air?

THe alternator must be ok if the car starts fine right?

Please give me things to check

the alternator is toast, you got that wet crap in there and I bet you grounded the field windings with the amature so it either killed the diodes or the inverter.

Dude i really hope you didnt base everything on that. Because you got it backwards. If the car starts that means that the Batt is fine (batt is sparks the starter to turn then turn the car). Why your batt exploded though might be because it was getting drained to fast. But you need to change that Alt. before anything.
