Need help on replacing front rotors
I'm trying to replace the front rotors myself instead of bringing it to the dealer cuz they want an arm and a leg for it. For that price I can buy my own tools and jack and everything I need to do it myself.
The problem is that after i removed the wheel, the front brake pads and removed the lower caliper bolt and moved the caliper aside, followed the Haynes manual best I could, but the two caliper mounting bolts on the backside are frozen.
I tried wrench with a hammer, the impact driver with the socket on it, even biting it;. (didn't taste too good) How can I get those two bolts off without having to drill them out (cuz that doesn't seem like a good idea) ?
And while I'm at it, are there any other problems I should look at?
TIA.

do not drill them off....
get some pb blaster or liquid wrench...or anything that eats through rust.
while youre at it, buy a section of pipe around 2-3' long. It will give you added leverage when you slide it over the ratchet/wrench.
