My tranny... or My Clutch?

I just bought a 94 EX Coupe.. it has 128k miles on it. When I first got it I coudl get it to chirp 2nd.. now when I redline it and try to slam it into gear, it scrapes... I know I have the clutch all the way down and ****. So is my clutch going.. or is the tranny startin to **** up? Thanks!

my guess is the tranny

stop redlining anyway...... what's the point?? you don't make any more power at 7200 that you can make at 6400 - 6800. are you just trying to beat the **** out of a soon to be ten year old car????

<---can verify that theres no point to redline unless you think you're gonna drop back in the powerband on the d-series.

And yes it sounds like a Syncro problem.

I normally try to double clutch. Ill stop redlining.. Sorry
