My Steering is Jacked!
Everytime I turn the wheel (usually sharply) I get a popping or grinding sound. This does not sound good to my ears. Does anyone know what the hell is wrong here? Thx.

Boots!? Boots!? I assume you're not talking about Doc Martens, so what then are you referring to? Is this something that I can fix on my own, or do I have to go get anally raped by some mechanic?

Your axles are all messed up. You can go to Kragen (not sure if you have one in your area or not), and buy a new set, prolly around 200 and have a lifetime warranty. Or you can try to repair them...crap, I'm not even sure if you can repair CV boots.
Anyways, not TOO big of a deal. If you have some tools, you and a friend could prolly replace them yourselves.

Do you do a lot of "burn outs"?
The CV boot is a rubber covering that is around part of your axle.
You need to get a new axle or a new boot.

Burn outs cause these boots to rip, crack, and tear. These boots hold grease wich keeps your axels lubed at their point of seperation.

Get the CV's replaced as soon as possible!!!! A friend blew the tranny....don't know how when his cv finally gave way!!!! The cost to get it done now is better than repairing what breaks when the joint gives way!!!!
