Default my old z6 pistons in my new d16y8 motor?please read.

As you all know i recently mesed up my z6 by running it hard on low oil pressure. The rods started to knock like carzy.
Now i bought a d16y8 motor and was wondering if it is better to keep my old z6 pistons and swaping it in my new d16y8 motor?
Will this bump up my compression/ratio? And do i expect to gain a good amount of extra hp?

And yes i did search past threads for this answer but didnt find any thing consistant.
