My EM1 Build Thread
Hey guys,
I'm new to this Honda tech page. I've been a member of other forums in the past but nothing with cars. Well either way this past weekend I picked up a bone stock 2000 FBP Em1 from a 84 year old lady. That means I am the second owner. The car has a little bit higher miles *202,xxx* but runs like a champ. Most of the miles were highways miles. The body isn't perfect but I can't ask for much more after 200 k miles. The car is up in Maine so we have rust everywhere, this makes it extremely hard to find a clean Honda. I was lucky enough to find one that was kept in a garage for the past 17 years. Not a spec of rust on the rear quarters or under body. Every vin on the car matches and its never been in an accident. The interior is also very nice. The lady was a non-smoker so no burns or smells. Still has the OEM radio.
I am a full time student so I don't have tons of money to throw at this car but i do plan on a full OEM spec rebuild of the engine as the top end has a slight tic nothing major. I just wanted to start this thread so I can track what i do to the car over time. Stay tuned for more.
I will be posting a few pictures later today.
