my door is vibrating and i think its my lock
so when im at idle...my drivers side door has the most annoying vibration. i finally found out its the lock . i put pressure on the lock and it stops. so when my car is unlocked it does it really bad but when i lock it, it does it a lot less and a lot quiter. but its still there
what do u suggest i do to fix the problem? i was thinking its the little cable that goes to my door is vibrating on the door? but what should i do to fix it? i dont know how to take my door panels off.

Pull the door panel off and drive it like that if hold on to what ever it is that makes it vibrate and see whats wrong with it. And honda's don't use cables they use rods. The rods have plastic guide like clips that hold them from shifting around the rod can sometimes pop off from the guide. Make sure the door handle itself isn't loose either.

my door is vibrating still and i see that on the inside the trim around the actual door handle that you pull is loose...but the passenger side is nice and tight..how would i make the drivers side tighter? i think thats what is rattleing.

The door is held on by 3 bolts(1-handle,1-middle,center of door under a plastic cover,1-plastic w/clip near front of door). Once out pull at the bottom and sides. the door should unclip. once the bottom is loose pull the panel up to get the window trims out. thats it. be careful with the plastic weather barrier. you dont want to destroy that.

Re: (mugencx)
My 2000 CX H/B does the same thing bro, i think its the lock button on the lock rod, a piece has broken off. I think it might have happened when my doors freeze up here in the canadian winter and i manhandled the button. as mentioned just turn up the music till you can replace the bits. My EK has had so many little rattles, for an 8 year old economy car, its to be expected. but ive managed to fix a lot of them with new parts, sandpaper or silicone lube. lol.
