My Civic starts without pressing the clutch, how can I fix it back?
Hello, just wondering why my Civic starts without the clutch, as to original ones start by pressing the clutch? What do i need to connect?

+1 on the clutch switch. Look under the dash in the clutch pedal area to see if there is a paper clip or wire jumping the switch and making it so you don't need to push the clutch in. That's usually how people ghetto bypass it.

was this an auto to manual swapped car? you may have to look it over and wire in your clutch switch. mine does not require the clutch to be engaged because mine was a auto to 5 speed swapped car and i never hooked up the clutch switch.

I was wondering if my 94 is actually supposed to turn over without the clutch down? I have been have trouble starting my car in the heat for some reason and I don't know what wrong with it. I was trying to start it today and I did it without the clutch down just to see what would happen and it tried to turn over I also noticed that a can change gears with out it down.
any ideas????
