Default HELP!!my car keeps cutting out! Why!!HELP PLEASE!

I got a 93 del sol with a b18c, when i am going at around 2800-4100 rpm sometimes it starts jerking crazily like someone is letting off then jamming the throttle violently, and sometimes when i am sitting at a light it just dies. it'll be idleing at 900 rpm too. I think it might be 1 of 2 things. #1. I have a apexi v-afc v-tec airflow converter. i don't know if it's tuned right. it idles at 4000rpm when you first start it up and then starts revving from 1000-3400rpm until it's warm. i don't know if i need to figure out how to tune the fuel curve or what. #2. the guy that had it before tried to install a kill switch. (didn't turn out well). it a wad of electrical tape with a toggle swith pokeing out. i was wondering if that has a bad connection in it of something but it doesn't cut out above 4000 rpm so i doubt that's it. any suggestions welcome!
IF YOU DON'T KNOW ATLEAST BUMP THIS, I AM TRIAL AND ONLY GET 5 POST A DAY AND CAN'T WASTE THEM KEEPING THIS THREAd OFF PAGE 2 I NEED ANSWERS!!!!!!!!!!!

i have no clue..... but when i had stalling promblems they were both caused by EGR valve and Ignition switch...... Unplug ur EGR valve thing and drive it and see if it still does it.... its gonna throw a code obviously but if it solves it cool....

I don't think i have an egr valve. i don't know why that would be it cuz it only does it between 3-4k rpm and doesn't do it under acceleration. but thanks a lot if you have any other ideas i'd be extremely thankful to here them. does it count as a post if you post on your own thread like this cuz if so this is my 5th one and i am trial so i think i will have to wait til tomorrow.

it could be the EGR valve.... that has to do with your exhaust recirculating. Just if you have one, unplug it and then start it up and drive it. It will not mess them motor up and the CEL will come on just to let you know.... But it can't hurt

I don't have an egr valve so i am still guessing on the vafc or i might need the injectors cleaned. anybody with any idea just take a guess please!

Disconnect the AFC and the kill switch sequentially to see if either of those are the problem. I'd guess the VAFC settings are whacked.

No cels whatsoever, im not sure it is the vafc but it could be and i have heard from a lot of people its crap so i guess i should look into something different. i was still wondering if it could be my injectors being dirty because when it starts to cut out all i have to do is push the gas down harder and it stops. is it okay to just the vafc and run, i would think it would be fine but im not sure. if it is the vafc what should i get instead, i no what hondata is but can i tune that? i've never heard of chrome but seen it come up on the site before, how much does this stuff run, thanks alot guys, more input would be great.

i would try disconnecting the vafc FIRST. they can be trouble. crome tuning is free but you need to socket your ecu and get a chip burner. pretty cool program though, easy to use.
