I have 99 Civic Em1 with an obd2 gsr swap. So the other day my car was overheating but I wasn't aware of it. Then A 5min Later the radiator hose popped. I Drove the car home and the car would just bog like if it had no power. Yes I did replace the hose before I drove it home an also put anti freeze in it.. Then the next morning I drove the car to work. it was fine. then after work it wouldn't start.. Iv Checked the started iv checked my grounds iv checked my battery. Idk what else it could be. I really need to get it back on the road. please let me know if u have any clues on what It could be.

Yeah it wants to turn on. And I havent ran the ecu readers. When i drove it and it would bog out the cel would just blink on and off.

Did the water from your hose happen to nail your intake? If it's bogging while trying to accelerate you're dealing with either a spark or a compression issue for the most part. This happened to my old 99 ex when I hit deep puddle, changing the spark plugs resolved the issue.

Damn.......this sounds bad already. Okay next time it does this you need to check for spark, and check to see if fuel is getting delivered to the injectors. Since the car ran fine in the morning than your ecu is fine. Main relay probably took a **** when it finally warmed up. Also check the ground that is on the thermostat housing.

Hmm, he sure didn't state which hose and the location it busted, so yes he might've, a big MIGHT, sucked up coolant. Depending if the host busted while driving, open throttle, or at idle. A lot of variations here. More details OP.

The blinking CEL indicated severe random misfires.

Check for spark and whether the fuel pump primes.

Also pull the CEL codes by jumping the service connector or by connecting a code reader.

I Finally Got My Car running... It ended Up Being one Of amy Ground Cables Being Old And what Not. So I Replaced That and also got an amazing deal on NGK Spark plug wires for 50 bux

You should take this as a sign and do a full tune up.

Oil, plugs, wires, hoses, filters, clean the grounds (yes, all of them), inspect other fluids, belts, consider water pump/tbelt, etc.
