My 5 lug conversion 2000 EK
The reason why I decided to go with the conversion was because I wanted a brake upgrade and CCW LM20 wheels. They require 5 lugs and only came in a 17" wheel. After talking with Dan at CCW he was able to pull some strings and make them in a 16". I gave Dan all of my measurements that he was needing so that he could clear the spoon calipers. I will get them in about 10 days from now. The car will have a "flush stance" when I'm done with it.

I quickly found that it was very hard to find a USDM 32mm ITR 5 lugs that were in good condition in Arizona. I wanted to physically see them not just in pictures so that i knew what I was getting into. After 5 months of looking I finally found some on craigslist. The lugs were rusted and in terrible condition when I saw them. The seller was asking $900 which I was willing to pay if they were in good condition but as you can see the idiots left the parts out in the sun for a couple of months.

After hours of cleaning here is the after result.

I'm waiting on some more parts like the rotors and wheels but I will go step by step with a bunch of pictures so If you decide to do a 5 lug conversion you will understand how much it will cost and how to save time doing it. (sorry if the pics don't show up first time doing this)

The best way to get the rust off is using a dremel tool with a sand paper bit. Then just simple green to get the grease and dirt off. If simple green doesn't clean it then just use gasoline and a tooth brush.

Re: My 5 lug conversion 2000 EK
I just got a set of 5 lugs as well. but mine are 36 mm. Do you know what axels these are from. I would like to change mine for new ones. And what rotors do i need? Are they just civic type r's or civic si's??

Re: My 5 lug conversion 2000 EK
When doing this conversion you want the usdm type r 32mm. This will make the whole conversion process simple. Your 36mm is from a JDM type R and the axel size is too big. From the research that I have done you might be better to sell them and look for a 32mm usdm conversion. There might be a way to get it to work but the hassel, money, and time might not be worth it.

Re: My 5 lug conversion 2000 EK
Why would i get a 32mm conversion for? My hatch is a CTR right hand drive? I just didnt have the 5lug conversion because i bought my hatch all strip down. Now im putting it back together. I just finish installing the b16b back into it. I just wanted to replace the axels but i dont know what to use?
Do I need to get actuall type R axels?
Some said i can use CRV'S but not really sure??

Good News...At the end of the day my Hawk HPS pads came in. I decided to go with HPS than HP+ because HPS have less dust, last longer (supposedly), and more quiet than HP+. If you are looking for a good pad for the track than HP+ is your choice.

Also I suggest to change out your rotor bolts so that you don't strip them. The bolts only cost about $5 for 20 of them at your local Honda dealer. Don't waste your time at Home Depot for a similar bolt because you won't find it.

Dollar Amount:
1.) 5 lugs $700
2.) EBC Gold Rotors $300
3.) Hawk HPS pads $130
Total: $1,130
If you are on a tight budget then don't stretch your wallet to get spoon calipers because they probably won't make a big difference. I bought spoon calipers for the look. If someone installed spoon calipers and saw a big difference please let us know.

Sorry bro I didn't know that you had a true CTR. You have JDM ITR conversion. The CTR lugs are supposed to be 32mm like the USDM ITR. What I have read is that the 99 crv axles 5spd with abs should work. Check it out:
