My 2000 em1 build
What's up,
so I have a boosted 00 em1 that I'm getting ready to build.
I have a b18c1 sleeved from golden eagle block
bored it out to 84mm
going with 84mm aries pistons and eagle rods
also throwing on my itr head with ctr cams
going to be running the b16 tranny with either a stage 5 competion clutxh or clutch master clutch.
Looking to hit 450/500 whp
The other thing I'm worried about is I have a single walbro fuel pump and a aem fuel rail and fuel regulator. Idk if it will hold up.
So let me know what u think
should I upgrade the fuel system?
Should I stay with the b16 tranny or go with gsr?
Should I go with competion or clutch master clutch?
Let me know anythin else I should do instead
thanks guys

I take it this car is not yet boosted if you don't know about fuel requirements?
You need to do a LOT of research with what you are looking to do, check the FAQ section and start reading!!!
Don't forget about fuel management/tuning, and without an lsd, you would be wasting your time

Definitely need upgraded injectors, LSD for sure, not to mention some upgraded suspension and brakes to keep that thing at least semi-sane. Clutch is dependent on torque, if you're hitting the track a lot, and feel.
Transmission is up to you, I would go with GSR. Factory LSD, slightly longer gears for the higher power.
Either way, I'm with Deetz, you're in for a lot of headache if you think you can just jump into this, research research research.

Re: My 2000 em1 build
id go with Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors and keep your 255lph pump its more than enough for that level of hp. for clutch it depends on what you like and what need. I have had no problems running competition stg 4 clutches on cars including evo8's, for driving on streets its always nice to have a sprung clutch to reduce some chattering. Stock LSD transmissions will hold up well, yet the lsd differential wont hold up much to that hp range especially at the track. go with a quaife or wavetrac and itll last yrs to come, open diff's are also ok if you have a pair of slicks to race it at the track with but the oem honda lsd wont take as much abuse..hope it helps

No it's turboed now. I have 750 cc rc injectors already and yeah if I got a new tranny I would make sure it has LSD but proably gonna jkeep my b16 tranny and I have street slicks. And I'll proably with clutch master stage 5 heard it was a pretty nasty clutch. But yeah thanks for all the feedback

I made 523whp on rc1000's, walbro 255, and stock lines. As for clutch I ran a twin disk on the street which isnt pratical for most but didnt want to change later. As for lsd I went with b16 stock gears and a quaiffe
