Default My 1992 Hatch Build

hello everyone,

im fairly new to honda's but ive been working on japanese cars since i was a kid. Coming from nissans, this is a VERY weird change, its funny to see the differences just between 2 companys, and how they build their cars.

Im in the Air Force, currently stationed in Germany, believe it or not this is a US spec car (you'll laugh about this later) and i spent about $2000 on it (too much, i know)

anyway, this is my EG how i got it a few months ago

Sorry for the bad GoPro picture, but it was the only camera i had at the time

bad picture, but there is the typical rust on the rear fenders (terrible rust, you'll see it in other pictures) dents everwhere nasty half chipped blue paint/silver blades, and it has been smoked in.

there were some goods with it though, came with del sol seats, a nice radio and some subs (that i will never use) and the engine.... well, here it is

yes, it is a ZC. it came with a D16a9 but it blew up 4 days after buying the car, and the only other ZC i could come across is a D16Z5. So, this car is quite the mutt.

but in the past few days i have done a bit of work, and there is more on the way. ill let the pictures do the talking

my hood was too messed up, so i found on on the junkyard on base that was in good condition

also, painting the blades seemed like a good idea

a picture of the roads close to where i live here in germany, be jealous

then i started looking under the car more

oh dear, my cheap ebay exhaust has a hole in it now, i still havent bought a new one, but i have mounted it better until i can get a new exhaust

then the mailman wanted to be really nice to me

f&f type II, f&f lower control arms, skunk2 front uppers and rears, and a couple squash air fresheners (cant go wrong with squash haha)

rears off

new rears on

new fronts on

how it sits now

i have a lot of updates coming up for this car, including ITR brakes and a B18C4. also, i already have new rear fenders and paint is on its way haha

so far all i have ordered is this (takes forever for things to get here from the US/Japan)
B18C4 coming from the UK, should be here any day now
Its Proper amber "bubble" shift **** (really, its just an amber shift **** lol)
Apexi WS-II cat back
Nardi Deep Corn 350mm with a nrg hub/quick release
ITR brakes
and i have new fenders already, just waiting to find a good body shop to do it here for less than 1000 euro (if not ill just do it myself, not because im not able to do it myself, i just dont have the time)
paint will be soon after that in some sort of galaxy black

Thanks ! when i got the wheels they were some nasty blue that was chipped and all that, i was going to polish them but when i got all the blue off there were some gashes in the wheels, so the polish was a no go as they would look terrible

and no, im at spangdahlem. its about an hour and a half from ramstein

I paid $100 for a pair shipped to my door in Canada. Pays to shop around. Mill Auto Supply out of Ohio has an eBay store, and they ship to Canada with USPS. Killer prices, and good quality Danish steel.

^ You shoulda checked eBay Germany first before ordering from home - same product, a bit cheaper, and shipping is super fast since it's local.
