Muffler For 92 Civic VX
Hey, whats up? im looking into buying a new cat back muffler, and i was wondering what the best bang for my buck would be if i only had like 300$ Canadian to spend? anyone thanks alot

Hey, alright how about $500, i dont want the huge name stuff like DC Sports etc.. something good/decent sound! i hear the apexi n1 is really loud? if so i dont want the cops on my *** as much as they already are! but some feedback will be excellent thanks

Greddy Sp and Apexi World sport are both quite good quality cat backs at around $400. Any cat back on the VX will need a pipe made to extend to the downpipe since the VX has a close coupled cat.

I was personally considering a Tanabe Hyper medallion for my VX. Either that or an Apex'i World Sport. I know the World Sport is quiet and looks pretty stock, but it is a baffled muffler, whereas the Hyper medallion is a straight through, but looks similar to the World Sport. I don't have experience with the Hyper medallion yet and was wondering if anyone had input on how loud it is in comparison to a World Sport.

A baffled muffler will stay quite where a straight through muffler like the Tanabe and the Greddy SP will get louder over time as the stuffing blows out. My greddy is about 10 months old and is still quite but has got a little louder over time and I am finding more and more little black fiberglass pieces on my rear bumper

Hey, thanks guys, just to remind you the prices you gave me where hopefully in Canadian$, but should i got from the engine back or just cat back? cause ive heard ppl saying engine back 2.5 or just cat back 2.5 or 2.25 etc...

Those prices were US. WS is 2.25 and SP is 2.5 I believe. It doesn't really make a difference if you still running the VX motor so get a cat back.
