I just bought a 93 hatch for my every day car and need to know if a 99 DX motor and tranny will fit. Please help guys

if it's the stock motor or another D series, then yes it will.

yes, it is a D thanks guys, this will get the wife off my back. She hates the fact that I turned my 91 into a race car, and the only way to make peace is to get another stock honda for us to use

it will fit, but most of the sensor plugs are different. most are interchangable from your motor in your car now to the 99 dx motor. but your biggest problems will be the distributer and iacv. you have to use the 99 distrib. because of the head design, and the iac valve (if the dx uses a 3 wire iac valve) or if it shares the same style like the one in your 93 hatch you wont have to worry about it. with a little time and rewiring it could be done. i did a 98 ex motor into a 94 civic si hatch
